Would you do buisness with?....

Dave, I have resorted to that very plan a couple times when treated poorly. You just need to do what you need to do. I used to teach mechanics and a big part of my lesson plan had to do with quality and customer service. "Much easier to keep customers than get new ones"

Dave,

I've unfortunately have gotten that way myself. There is a local car dealership that I or anyone that will listen will never enter again called Lujacks of Davenport, IA. Although the sales staff is top notch it's what the service department had done to me (and countless others I found out) when I filed a complaint with BBB. Since I did publicly bash them and filed a complaint I'll continue to bash them but that's rant will be for another time.

GEICO would not insure me when I was 19 years old because I was a junior enlisted member of the military. They were the Government Employees Insurance Company back then. I asked them to clarify thier position as I had never had a ticket or accident to that point and I did not think rank should have any bearing on insurability because they would give insurance to a 19 year old government employee. I flip off that gecko everytime I see him. In 15 Min i can shove my boot up his a** That was 31 years ago. I love to tell that story over and over and over. I got my MBA sitting next to two GEICO employees. They heard the story a lot too.

On a happier note, I have enjoyed watching many companies go out of business because of their crappy service. Most recent was an expensive cake company who delivered a crappy cake to my better half's 50th . When it arrived not as ordered, falling apart and leaning, they had the audacity to tell me I was a difficult customer. They closed last month to much Facebook tears. I made a special online comment that lasted about a day...piss on their graves.

I'd have half a mind to pull them through the entire process of purchasing a boat from options, upgrades, in house financing, extended warranties and the whole none yards. Then when it came time to sign the papers, walk out and say you are going to ebay instead.

I am not this bitter in real life, but I have a passion for customer service and a man's commitment.
