Yamaha 40LA Tiller Conversion

Hello, searched around for info on this but couldn’t find much around. Does anybody have any info on this or can send me in the right direction? I am buying a new Yamaha from a dealer with the tiller kit next week but I have to install it and there seems to be no instructions or videos on it anywhere. Is it pretty simple? I would like to consider myself mechanically inclined

I did one on a new Yamaha 40 a long time ago and it was very easy.

When I bought mine ( 40 HP Yamaha ) the tiller handle was already installed , it was probably built into the price. Just wanted to say I do love it. Works Great, you will enjoy it.
