Ok, I need a Yamaha fuel pump, like right now. I usually order from Boats.net for parts, but they are slow and in FL, relatively speaking. Anyone have a suggestion of a Yamaha parts superstore/warehouse in Southern New England that carries that I can drive to or overnight a pump from?

Since someone will ask, yes I broke it.

Tod,
next time a call to Boats Incorporated in Niantic would be first on my list. They move a ton of Yamaha stuff. No guarantee, as few places stock all the parts but they move a lot.

The gas in that big truck would have equaled the shipping.

How did it break?

I called all around and no one had a suggestion either, I made a Boats Inc note. Gas in the big truck? How did you know I pulled the trigger on that :).

It broke because I'm a ham-handed dumbass. I switched out all the in boat fuel lines (20' of 3/8) and changed the water seperator. As you know that is a lot of gas to pump through, so I was trying to slip the fuel line off the inlet to the fuel pump, so I could pump the gas through with no backpressure. The little fuel line barb broke right (and clean) off as I was trying to remove the fuel line.

Price of a whole new pump was only a little more than the housing that the barb was on.

Thanks again Trip, I spent all day on the computer yesterday and found some great internet deals and was able to find the sweet spot on price. We put money down on a 2011 Tundra TRD off-road doublecab with the 5.7L and got a smokin' good deal locally (plus 0% 5 years financing and cash back).

We didn't get a Crewmax because the rear seat differences. We love the way the seat on the double cab folded away compared to the Crewmax that folds down - doublecab is a perfect space for dogs in the cab. There is a ton of leg room in the back of the doublecab for anyone our size. Extra space of the Crewmax isn't really an issue since if we keep the truck for 10 years, Gus will only be 14 and he sure isn't going to be a tall feller given his parents.

I sealed the deal on the truck and promply went to the garage and broke the fuel pump on the boat.
