Your Morning reflection and reaffirmation

LOL....I love it. I waqs working a temp assignment for John Deere Experimental and my computer work station was set up next to a panaramic view of a little marshy area. I would have deer, turkeys, geese and pheasants all day long coming up to the window peering in. They finally had to move me. Something about my limited productivity during the project!......hehe

Just for you ,
I skipped school every opening day,,when a geograpical teacher found out he popped a quiz for my last class of the day...
I was out and shot a limit of black ducks and teal and was back to school by noon with a great tale .Of thunder and lighting streaking across the sky ,getting shot at and having a bb hit me in the teeth ,having to sling two decoy bags on my dads old shot gun and use them to swim across a high tide channel...and then walk a mile out to get a cab home.... what a day....

In our school there was alot of outdoorsy type teachers ,which was good ,as when me dad said to them make the boys home work up for the next 2 weeks as we are going to the deer camp there wasnt alot of fuss...

So do ya just smile when one of the kids like me pulls the opening day im sick card.... or off to deer camp....??

Opening day sick cards NEVER work on me because I always pulling my own to us e2 days before the opener !!!!!
 
I got out after school once this week, no luck though. Tried to jump a few ponds and worked a couple fields for pheasants. Hopefully going to get out after school(work) tomorrow. At least do some scouting for the weekend. I have students come in with "passes" and still in their camo all the time.

Remember i once told you how i left teaching after 12 years so i could take a job where I could take off to hunt—and right after I took the new job we started having kids so i hunt even less?

It gets worse...I'm sitting in my office where my wall of windows is 200 feet from one of the rivers of the Chesapeake. There are almost 1,000 geese chasing each other around on the water, and the ducks flew for 2 hours this morning...AND THE ONLY TIME I GET TO TAKE OFF THIS WEEK IS TO TAKE THE KIDS TO THE PEDIATRICIAN!!!
