Some assembly required. Drove to NJ and picked up Atlantic White Cedar today for seasoning. Plan is to use in replacing planking on the Van Sant style sneakbox.

Looks familiar! I brought a bunch of AWC back home from Tuckerton several years ago - along with a sweet VanSant-like Sneakbox from Josh Schwenger. The lumber, the vessel AND a verified VanSant are now out on Cape Cod - the vessels being restored by Lou Ureneck.
I will be using a bit of my AWC cache on my current project as well.

I asked at the mill and they don’t ship or attend any the shows. The one yard worker mentioned they cut blocks for decoy carvers.

One fairly swoons!!!!!!
I have a card around here somewhere of the mill that has both decoy-size land boat-building lumber to Tuckerton. Another vendor brings mostly decoy boards.

What does it run a board foot for 10' plus?

They charge by linear foot. $1.55 per linear foot.
How thick is it? I can't tell from the pictures. Kind of looks like 2/4 rough.

Yes, 2/4 rough. Planking is 1/4 on sneakbox. I may either plane to 1/4 or 3/8. I am thinking 3/8 to allow for finish long board sanding without taking planks undersized.

That works out to about the same we pay for red oak or poplar. Thanks for the data point. I bet it smells good when planing.
