I hate to say it but a guide who depends on "good numbers" is going to say "good numbers" no matter what. Anyone who hunted the Maine coast in the 80's and 90's knows sea ducks are a dismal state and guides are the only ones with enough time to find a dozen birds here or 50 birds there to get...

Skunk and/or Raccoon are taking them. If they are outside you have to put them IN SOMETHING or attach them TO SOMETHING. Even something as simple as running them through with a 1/8" bit and tying them to a brick with a piece of 50lb mono.

I've put my Versa through everything twice and it asks for more. ONLY complaint is the slow action on that big 3.5" but it always goes bang.
