    Black cork question…

One more word of advise, use an old blade in your bandsaw, and watchout for gravel. Tan cork dulls tools too, but this was extreme. I like working cork, and the look of the cork showing through the finished product. It is well worth keeping a good blade for wood and swapping to an old one...

    Black cork question…

I bought a bunch of older black cork from Mark Rongers years ago, the last of what he had been selling through MLB. It was a bit dry, but it was tighter and smaller grained than most you find: IT IS MESSY! To strengthen them, I put bottom boards on and a large dowel riser. Long screw...

    November work bench

E-bikes, CAD modeling, 3D printers...spinning reels...the traditionalist nature of the DHBP is gone... All kidding aside, looking good. I kind of chuckled, if you had a nice straight stretch of bike path along a stream or lake you could troll. Reminds me of a day the wife and I walked over to...

    NDR: Table pour

You jinxed me! So...long story long... I poured the clear a couple days after the color, and ran out of resin. Stopped and picked up another gallon kit, and got it up to the wood edges. Worked out all the bubbles, thought all was good, let it sit for 5 days or whatever the recommended cure...

    Rail Skiff Build

Looks great on the water. I might have missed it, but was there a reason for a square stern vs double ended like some rail boats? I have been there on the close ups too, looks better in person than you can get the camera to focus. Regardless, nice touch letting your brand and the natural...
