    Whatcha Listening To?

While I am not a big podcast guy, I do like this...history told from the perspective of some who lived through it (or sometimes retold from their descendants). BBC Witness History

    Lubricating a Table saw

What about using brake cleaner on it to remove any old lube with the caked on dust, then use a lube like Eric or Dave recommend? We have this kind of issue on rack and pinion greenhouse vents, they need lube to move freely, but then the dust sticks and the heat and sun bakes it in place. Chuck

    Starting on the new shop

Not so sure about that... And ...ah that makes sense...I was looking at the background thinking if that was Wyoming, someone really did a lot of planting to build up such a buffer around the homestead area. Personal orchards tend to take up a lot of space for a lot of time without a lot of...

    Starting on the new shop

Nice Tod, I like how you incorporated the metal drawers under the bench. A LOT less work than making drawers from scratch! I used a couple of the shortest roll about tool cabinets under my bench but I am always short on skinny drawer space, I might have to steal that idea (but then I'd have to...

I know I did quite a bit of researching snowshoes as a teen, and since I do not have that book here, it is either still at my parents home (which I do not believe) or...

    Swan decoy floaters?

Dave I have two in the basement collecting dust, I would be happy to loan to you indefinitely, but getting them to you would be the catch. While I think they are a duck magnet, I have seen geese shy away from them. Chuck PS these are 35-36" breast to tail, one is a feeder and it is 48ish...

A fun memory for Ballard and pretty much anyone who likes making decoys...

I don't get that into the memory thing on photo sharing sites, but this popped up on my OneDrive today: Brian Ballard, Rick Troutman and Jeff Vanderveen(I think that's right) at Paully Rutgers shop in 2009
