    Homer Decoys...

I doubt Lou would have eye screws. Decoy Rigs used to sell a ton of Herters heads and accessories. You might give them a call. I have their catalog from 2008. It shows multiple sizes in galvanized. Good luck. Decoy Rigs Whiting, Indiana 219 659-8371 RVZ

    Homer Decoys...

I hope you didn't spend much. If you are looking for foam body and heads to assemble and paint, try Lou Tisch. I have hunted over his decoys for close to 40 years. He makes a great product. RVZ

    Spring Migration 2026

Ringnecks, Bluebill and Goldeneye scattered on open lakes here on the Indiana / Michigan border. I'm not sure the Goldeneye ever left our area. Had a pair of Hoodies check the woodduck box yesterday morning. The big flocks of Migratory Geese have moved out also. This reverse migration is a great...

20" or 15" transom on Duck Boss 13?

You might look into a Tohatsu from North East Marine. They can sell and ship direct from Tampa Fl. Much chaeper than your local Marina. RVZ

    $4 a shell? Holy cow!

Eric, Check out their website or just give them a call. You are correct, no more Bismuth however they have developed what looks like a copper replacement with increased velocity and penetration. It's really quite interesting what they have accomplished. I'm with you on steel, for the price I...

    Long line weight ideas

Kevin, This may sound really off the wall, but I use lead weights from Campbell's soup cans. I don't know what your conditions are but my weights are about half the can filled. I use a brass ring stuck in the molten lead and hold it there untill it sets up. Be sure to peel the can off the lead...

Pete, I have both, 2008 vintage. I really don't know why I keep this stuff. Bob was a crotchety old guy with a heart of gold. RVZ
