Trailer lights,,,,,,,,,,,, specifically back up lights

I found this to be an acceptable answer to back up lights. I like that is has 2300 Lumens, 3 power settings, a magntic base so I can move it around (can take it in the boat with me and it works great for Ice Fishing as well Dave), is rechargeable, can alter where you want the light to shine, tough as nails and I didn't have to make anything as I have zero talent. Can usually find it on sale for $35.

Mark,
Is there a way to receive sales notification of just that light?

Dave, what filament did you use? Since it looks like a ender pro I assume it was PLA?

Have you had any issues with UV degradation of your 3D prints?

I've thought about printing some stuff out on my pro 3 max neo but researching the PLA filament said it doesn't handle the UV exposure but for so long. I would need a different setup to print ABS. A friend of mine has a bamboo labs printer and does the carbon fiber and makes some really strong stuff.

Yes, PLA filament and I know that is not a 1st choice. I have attempted to reduce the exposure, by giving the housing a generous coat of paint. If over time the PLA degrades, I do have access to a higher quality printer which can handle a better choice of filament. Trial and error learning curve.

Mark,
Glad it works for you. In my case, I'd never have it where I needed it. I need something bolted down so it will be there when needed. :D no charging required.
I hear you.

Whenever I get to a landing I have to load up the boat, undue the tiedowns. put the mud motor into place, start it up before launching etc... I am always around the back of the boat and it just becomes routine. I also use that light when unloadin in the dark and bring it with me in the boat when setting up decoys or whatever,

I love you solution and ingenuity but I have so little talent to do something like this. Have to take the easy way out.

Proof of concept! Trying to decide what is better for me; the hard wired solution or Mark W's movable Harbor Freight.
Definitely a great idea and necessary if you hunt alone.

We have our back up lights mounted on the boat. We always fire up the motor before backing in and turn on the back up lights. They can also help when setting decoys in the dark behind the boat.

Great if that works for you. I like that having them wired in means they automatically come on anytime I need to reverse. Whether that be at the ramp, at home or at the unlit parking lot, with the empty trailer. :)
