Coastal Black Duck Rig

Those are two of the strangest looking black ducks I’ve seen in a while.

LOL, they are ugly black ducks. On the coast between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic there seems to be a strong association between hoodies and blacks and gives my rig a little different look while still matching the hatch. Ira Hudson and Nathan Cobb seemed to notice that a 100-150 years ago. Now I need to get cracking on a bunch of Atlantic Brant. The blacks mingle with the brant a lot at low tide on the eel grass flats. Especially on seaside behind the Barrier Islands and all that white on brant show up for miles.
