All of my hunting is done in shallow marsh water about a foot to four feet deep. We don't get real ruff water to often, nothing like a big lake or ocean. I would like to use it to hunt me a dog and one other person, or a couple of kids. I have good skills as a carpenter and have built a few...

Wont be using a 28, but my .410 will be brought out again this year. Makes a good challenge for ducks. I only shoot at decoying birds at 30 yards or less. Its a lot of fun and a good challenge for me to really work on my shooting fundamentals.

Matt, The fishing was good me and a few friends fished for three hours and caught 12 fish. Brown's mostly on a small imerger. We had fun even though it was crowded. I feel the same way that you do about the high impact fisheries, I normally avoid them as well. But it was my buddies first time...
