    I bought a beat up rugged 50 year old duck boat based on Steve's renovation of a similar hull. I wouldn't have considered it if I did have his engineered renovation to follow. He has helped me with information above and beyond. Joe

    Lengthened the outboard stringers. XPS foam and 1708 glass stiffens the hull.

    I repaired the broken stringer with Biaxial 1708 x 12 " ... doubled it over the damaged area wet on wet. The hull laid out straight once I cut the deck off.

    Got the bottom cleaned off. The bottom was not prepared correctly. Wasn't scuffed so the polyester resin and cloth didn't adhere well. Made it easier coming off but was the cause of the leak.
