Just got done cutting out my brant silos for my V-boards using luan, since they will spend alot of time in the water im sure they should be sealed before i paint them. I was just wondering what would be the best saeler to use that i can paint over? Thanks,Brian

The net i got was only enough to do my boat it is sold by the foot,it is 12ft wide by whatever you want in length. If you are doing more than one boat it may pay to get the roll. There is a pic of the same net i used on Mikes "Grassed Up" post. Brian

Chris, Heres some pics of my roy high boat and my pond box, both are done with nylon bird netting an a mix of cabelas raffia grass and killerweed. It is low maintinence and seems to hold up well.

Hey matt when i first bought my boat it had rails, i have since switched to the netting. But if you hunt with a dog i would run those bolts thru the other way, with the threads towards the outside of the flap so that the only time the long part is exposed is when the flap is up and then the dog...

I dont use the native grass at all anymore that pic is from last season. I switched to all raffia for this year to cut down on maintanence, the native grass just gets beat up from the dog and needs to be replaced all the time. As far as the net goes it is synthetic aviary netting,like is used...
