Made me think of a picture I have in my files from years ago taken at an icy ramp commonly used on one stretch of the river. These guys were all strangers to each other, but everyone was pitching in to clear the ramp so all could have access. Doesn't seem to be the mentality any longer.

Thought I might have posted some of these, but looking back in the last few workbench threads, I guess not. Been doing some more carved feathers in remarqued boxes. Mallard speculum: Black Duck Speculum: Wood Duck Spec & coverts: Have a bunch of others, but you get the idea.
