    Need some help...NDR

I think that same guy sent me an email asking if he could deposit several million $$$ in my bank account from an offshore account and for my trouble I'd get a percentage... :-)

    Fishing Pics

You'd probably hate to see pictures of charter boat coolers full of Walleye from Lake Erie then too! 6 fish per man per day limit...6 guys on a boat plus a captain and a mate equals a LOT of fish...

    Cal Fishing

Ryan, I've driven by LeBron's house...very impressive from the street! Truth be told though all the mental game playing has soured me on the whole deal. I don't really care one way or the other if he stays or goes. Very cool to see Cal out catching fish? You getting your waterfowling...

    Turkey fryer burner rec....

I just went out to the garage and looked at mine. It is a Brinkmann, and has four shorter legs made of square tubing. I have been very happy with it. Height wise I think it would be about perfect for a big lobster boiling pot.

    Is cedar too soft?

I definitely think cedar would be too soft for that application Ryan, assuming you mean cleats to tie the boat off to a dock or whatever. You could use the cedar, but drill through it and use panhead bolts with washers, lockwashers, and nuts.

    Arthur Armstrong Wigeon

The boat in the photo looks like it could be strung with elastic cord to stuff grass/camo in. I'd like to get my hands on a Wigeon...had a Broadbill and never should have sold it.

    Brand new to all this

Ron, this outfit has been around as long as I can remember and has been at the forefront of providing components for non-toxic shtshell reloading. They should be able to supply everythingg you will need. http://www.precisionreloading.com/

    Little fuzz balls.....

I'm continually amazed by the quality of your shots. Have you taken any photography courses or classes, or is it all self taught?

And there was light!: Sneakbox progress

YOur attention to detail is commendable. I like all the little touches. Very ingenious how you fabricated your switch panel!

    Sneakbox plans?

A friend of mine used to have one of them; he liked it for hunting the shoreline of a reservoir here, or getting into the marsh. It does have ribs that have to be built, so it will be different to build from a stitch & glue design like the Devlin boats.

    Black-chinned hummingbirds

awesome photos Al. We've got some type of plant that grows along the side of our property that has little orange bell shaped flowers and the hummingbirds love them! Very cool to see them buzzing around.

    Brand new to all this

Ron, here is a chart from Cabela's that is a listing and comparison of the non toxic shotgun shells they carry. I hope this helps with the ammo selection...

    I am tired of seeing...

Derek, while unfortunate, it is a fact of life for forums. Guys will go to every forum out there to sell/promote/SPAM without ever participating. Hell, there's a guy on this thread with over 75% of his posts on this website being in the classifieds. I see it all the time in my personal...

You have got to be kidding, NDR

Mike, to add to what you wrote, my research indicates that the lady burned by the McDonald's coffee only asked for reasonable medical expenses from them. When they essentially told her to pound salt is when she lawyered up. The JURY awarded her massive punitive damages to let McDonald's know...

Do you have time to read a short story?

Al, I sure hope you looked up the rancher and gave him a heads up on that cow! As for your student in Alaska, that young man's life was tragically altered by his parents "teaching him a lesson". In this day and age I would just about guarantee they'd be brought up on abuse charges for doing...

    NDR Crossbow question

I have a Horton and have no issues with it at all. To de-cock I just wait until I get home and shoot a field tipped bolt into my target.

    Steve Sutton Moderator Emeritus

Having read Steve's farewell post, and now having read Eric's post, I feel compelled to comment. This whole situation is an eventuality I think any forum will face at some time during it's existence. I also think it is a certainty, with today's Internet, that new folks with qualities old...

What do ya do in off-season?

Just about the time I've gotten caught up on sleep from waterfowl season I start scouting for turkeys. This year I hunted all but one day of the Ohio turkey season. After getting rested up from that I'm starting to get gear cleaned up and organized for next waterfowl season. And of course...
