Find a picture of the duck, print it out, and make your own pattern. Generally speaking a decoy should be 3 times as long as it is tall and twice as wide as it is tall. This isn't a hard fast rule, but it will get you something that looks proportionally correct and should float right...

Kent Fasteel in 3" #2's out of that 20 ga will knock down everything you need it to. We passed a 20 ga. around on a goose hunt last January and had no problem putting them down properly out to 35yds. Shoot a tight choke and aim for the head. -D
