    Drake Mallard Whistle???

I was "GOT" too ... i bought two of them. First one didn't have enough volume to my liking so I bought another one. Only time I have had big success with them is when birds land wide of the decoys, and grunt them into range, flush and shoot. As far as calling birds while in the air. Just read...

    off-topic (recipe request)

Thanks man, I do one that is similiar to that, but parboil the meat for 1-2 hrs, depending on the size of turtle. Then add pretty much the same ingredients and toss in the crock pot on low. The meat I thawed is from a big 20+ lbs turtle. Just two legs and the neck. I may just debone the neck and...

    off-topic (recipe request)

Thawing out some turtle (snapping) to eat tomorrow and figured since there are so many people, from so many different areas of the country I'd ask if anyone would care to share a recipe or recipes. Would be nice to try something different. You can private message them to me if you like. Thank you.

    Making foam decoys

That's pretty cool, and as far as basics, doesn't look that hard to do. The detail work would be learned over trial an error I would think. Learning more and more as you go on. Shortcuts too! Thanks guys !!

    Let's see/hear it .....

My brother and myself talked about that very thing, "how many birds that are banded that fly off and never recovered". Carl those are great stories, thanks for sharing. The drake Mallard in the story above had a band very worn and I figured for sure had been wearing it for quite awhile and was...
