    update on the rig. I brought the entire 225 bird rig to SW Louisiana for a nice trip. I was interested in seeing how the rig would travel from Illinois to the gulf in the trailer. That restle coating can be pretty abrasive but not much i can do in practically I couldn't wrap each one in its own...

    Nice touch on the duck ID chart. I use a wood sugar bucket or firkin, fiberglass ed the bottom. it's 13 inches tall and about the same wide.

    Waiting on more greentops to show up so in the meantime pulled out the diver rig and layout for a hunt this week. The rig has been 30 years in the making. Mostly wood and some corks.

    A few years ago i had many decoys unlimited molds and none of them had stems. I agree that the DU heads are similar to the herters. Just came back from hunting and the widgeon were all over the place. They decoyed to the new teal rig.

    Thanks Steve, Going through my recent pile of scrounged Herters I found only one fat cheeked head the rest were the thinner variety. I thought i was done with decoys for the season then the wigeon showed up. I was able to restle coat and prime 30 model 63 puddler bodies but don't have enough...
