NDR - I need a "one off" grey metal casting

It would have to be thick to prevent the "background" from being too close and radiating heat and diminish the logo. If that makes sense.

NDR - I need a "one off" grey metal casting

A customer is looking for a weird tool that is used for creme brulee. It is a plate that is heated and held close to melt the sugar. They want their logo to show in the creme brulee. I would use Brass, but he leaves it in a wood fired oven to stay hot. I'm afraid that it would melt or deform the...

    Fast Grass? Who likes What.

I use raffia grass. This was a couple years ago, I got carried away and put twice as much as I needed on. It's thinned out quite a bit, I'm going to redo it this year. I used natural, olive and medium brown. I did not alter the color. This is before I trimmed it up...

Eric: I'm a few years from building my building, but I have a couple questions. Why did you choose 2 different trusses? Why not all the same with storage above the whole building? What are you planning for heat? How will you insulate it? Ceiling also? Did you put any floor drains in? Does your...

    Memorial Day

I think we should ponder the lives of the men who have given their lives in service to this country. It may seem like I am splitting hairs, but Memorial Day is to honor our war dead. Lets thank the veterans on Veterans Day. If you think there isn't a difference, ask a Gold Star Mom.

    Workshop Construction

I have a sketch of a similar sized building for our retirement property in Tennessee. Have you considered a small office? Maybe 8x10 or so. You could have a wall AC unit hooked up, desk, files, stuff. Maybe dedicated storage units, almost like they have at the rental places. This would be for...

I don't have a Dudley pattern, but I have one that is based on an older decoy. Send me an email if you're interested. The body is carved wrong, but that isn't the patterns fault.

    Neutering, Yes or No?

I have a German Shorthair, our breeder asked us to wait until he was at least 18 months old to have him neutered. She mentioned that he would be fully grown and past puberty. Nothing scientific, but something I have heard from a couple breeders since then.
