Thanks guy, I was just looking at some cork decoys I acquired and some of these supposed hen mallard don't look to hen like LOL So I was just inquiring these might have been born a different flavor in a different life, if I keep these for my own use they might have a change in flavor.

I have question for the cork decoy gurus, did Bean or Herter's sell cork decoys in widgeon and gadwall, and if they did was it just the "mallard" body with a paint job? Thanks John

Hi, I acquired cork Herter's decoys that ere probably the last end of what Cabela's sold, they have no tail boards they are cork to the end in both the mallards and the blue bills is there a disadvantage to this?

Are these sealers usually applied before paint or can they be used over paint. I hate to wreck a good paint job LOL

I no nothing about cork decoys, but I spoke for several dozen based on them being new old stock supposedly. With that being said what is the best sealer for cork in case I keep these for myself.
