    12 Gauge 2 3/4 Loads

Hi, Thinking about getting back into duck hunting. Have used a number of shotguns in the past but still prefer the old A5 Light 12. In looking around, it is perplexing to try to find anything like the modern equivalent to the Winchester XX I loved back in the day. What are people using? At...

My wifes first hunt in many years

MikeF, Jake had to be happy:-D Our Brits and our yellow Lab just loved showing off for my wife. My wife wasn't a hunter but the dogs sure knew when she was along. Just a little different swagger to their strutting. Our best to you and yours and to everybody for the holiday! John

    Canvasback Decoys

About three years ago, Mark Rongers, steered me towards a source for cork bodied Canvasback (and other) decoys. They were well made and modestly priced. I have lost the contact info for that party and if anyone recalls the name, etc I would appreciate having all again. Thanks, John

    New Boat

Jay, Vey nice. Would be great for the season's first ice. Nothing like the sound of ice breaking against the hull to stir your imagination! Are you the builder? Thanks for sharing, John MLB Chuck Huff BSB

    Estuary with Avery Real Grass

Gary and Kevin, A better question I should have asked is: "What is the distance from the floor boards to contact with the dodger spray shield?". On my Chuck Huff it is 30" from the floor boards I made to the dodger. Very nice and doable but a little low for my 6'4" frame. Thanks and best...

    Estuary with Avery Real Grass

Kevin and Gary, What kind of speeds are getting with the Estuary? Just curious and realize it's secondary to anything that matters. Beautiful boats and really appreciate the interior shot, er pic. Thanks, John Chuck Huff MLB BSB
