NDR Pacific NW, Seattle and Victoria Canada area

Congratulations Phil. A trip to the San Juan islands is beautiful as are the Nat'l Parks (Mt Rainier, Olympic) and a visit to Mt St Helens to witness the power of a volcanic eruption. With so much available to do, I hope you have scheduled a good amount of time for your visit.

    Ascend kayaks

Has anyone had experience with the FS128T Ascend ksyak? Went to our new Bass Pro and saw one. It looks to have many nice features for fishing and I would be interested to hear if anyone has used for hunting too. Thanks in advance.

    Roll top and motor cover

Dave, the boat looks great. I really like the detail of the paint job you did. Watched your video and it sure appears to turn on a dime and looks great on the water. Jeff

    Done for the Year

I know what you mean Carl. The season for me here was much the same, filled with frustration with having such high hopes dashed with weather that not always cooperated with my availabilty to get out and go. My buddy, son and I were able to get a fair amount of scouting done for next year...

    anchoring decoys

I have a dozen and 1/2 new puddle duck decoys that I need to rig with decoy anchors. Wanted to get opinions on different anchoring types. In the past we've used the J-style anchor with stretch bungee and wrapped around the keels, storing them together in a large decoy bag. Have you used the Rig...

    Informal Survey: Young Hunters

Good thread topic . . . I didn't start hunting until college, but had always been around firearms. My father bought me a BB gun around the age of 8 or 9 which I used at my grandparents property doing target shooting, cans and paper. I was 13 when I received a .22 rim fire bolt action...

    New to the forum

Sean, I considered the Scaup too . . . haven't really committed to either but was leaning towards the BB3 mainly due to the length. What would you say the Scaup is in length including the trailer? . . . I'll need to be storing it in the garage.

    New to the forum

I came across the forum while I was searching Devlin's site looking for a potential future boat build. Can't say that this being an immediate project, but one that certainly peaks my interest. I consider myself pretty handy with tools and marvel at the craftsmanship many have displayed in this...
