It's that time of year again & we're coming up quick! Here's the information for this year's Barnegat Bay Decoy & Gunning Show. September 26-27th at the Tip Seaman County Park / Tuckerton Seaport, NJ

I plan to attend - lest family priories intervene (as they have in recent years). I just built this ramp for my Mom (age 97) who will be with us through September.



From our back deck, the new ramp will allow my Mom to get down to Terra Firma - via the ramp I built for my wife's foot surgery 3 or so years back (which we scheduled for right AFTER Tuckerton that year).



Other "ramps" included tacking down some lengths of varnished clapboard - to ease the Rollater over the many saddles in our old house.



This "bar" barricades our cellar way....



In early July I added this ramp for our daughter (visiting up on Champlain with her family).



Nevertheless, I believe I can get to Tuckerton with both a vessel and a decoy. As both are Top Secret, I can reveal only obscure and misleading clues..... (and, Yes, I know there are too many rectrices....)



This sketch plan is equally obscure....



Perhaps the title helps?



I hope to make progress on both today.

97 is getting up there. I take it the longevity gene runs in your family. In my family I observed if you avoid alcohol and tobacco and take moderate care of yourself there's a strong chance you'll live to see your 80s and even 90s.

I can't wait to see the mystery that emerges form your workshop.
