Hey All,

It's that time of year again for our annual show here on Long Island, New York. As with years past we will once again be hosting our 4th Annual Duck Boat Exhibition in conjunction with the 54th Annual Waterfowl Collectables Show. This is by far the largest showcase of duck boats in the northeast. The event will take place on SATURDAY MARCH 7th, 2026 at 370 Motor Parkway Hauppague, NY. Club website: www.LiDecoyCollectors.com

The show will include a feature on 150 Years of Long Island Goose Hunting. Model Duck Boat Competition and Exterior Duck Boat Showcase.
*If you are interested in bringing your duck boat please pre-register, this is appreciated in advance to estimate how much space we need. As many can remember the show gets filled up quick and boats may also be brought day of show as well. This includes boats for sale! All are welcome to join us as we continue to grow.

The following rates will be effective for this season:
General Admission: $10.00
Vendor Tables: $95.00
Duck Boat Registration: $20.00 Pre Registration Link: PRE-REGISTRATION 2026
Model Duck Boat Registration: $10.00

Oh man I wish I lived closer but the 500 mile drive isn't as easy as it once was. Those miniatures are really something esp. the sink box. Looks like a lot of fun.
 
New England needs one of these, but I just don't think we have the density of waterfowlers that Jersey/Long Island/Delaware area can muster.

Good morning, Anthony~

Looks like I had better get going on our main exhibit - 150 Years of Long Island Goose Hunting. Craig and I met with Dick earlier this month - but health and family keep slowing us down. We will be including decoys and gear from the mid-1800s through 2000 - and recounting the profound changes that have taken place over that period regarding the natural history and pursuit of Branta canadensis. Most of the decoys will come from more accomplished collectors than I. However, I will show this bird (which you have seen previously) made by a friend of my Dad's - Charles "Zip" Zoubek from East Islip.

This was taken in 1958.
