Happy Birthday Daughter Mine,

I just spent 30 minutes typing you an email and letting you know about my trip in Canada so far. Service is very slow for sending and I have no clue where the message went but it does not show in my draft or sent file and now I have to go play tourist so will have to try again later. So I figured that i could post here. Pete thank you for the picture. I really like it! Just think when you were born I was 23 times older than you now I am only 2 times older so you are aging faster n me! The weather up here is awesome. Not much color yet but what color there is, is vibrant. I will be back in the states on the 26th and will try to call you then, depending on service.

Gotta get going. I love you......all in all I have to say it was worth the 19 hours...... :-)

Shermie, it was fun to have frost on the car. I had a good time at the Jost Winery being the lightweight I am with spirits! We are in St. Martins on an Epicurian elderhostel tour having a great time. The leaves have changed a great deal since we arrived in Canada. An amazing amount of apple trees along the road with bumper crops of apples just going to rot......I guess the wildlife appreciate them. I saw one of the crows flying with one in it's mouth that was kinda funny looking. Beautiful area though and the weather could not be nicer.

I think Ireland will be my next trip.

Thanks guys! I had a pretty good day. I went out for some early teal/woodrow hunting and winged a hen woodrow. Sadly I was unable to find her after much searching. That was a bummer. So instead my buddy and I went moorhen hunting and had a good time with that. They can be quite wily.

Anyway, thanks for the birthday wishes!!
