I'm doing some detail painting on the heads of some of these carved synthetic tupelo decoys my son painted for me over the past weekend.

Don, what do you mean by synthetic?

It's a synthetic combination of 8 components to create a carving material similar to carving tupelo, just without the allergy issues.

Not the synthetic tupelo, it's just something that a couple of my trusted friends and I came up with.

Those Carves look awesome Don, the Iridescence on the drake buffies are really real. I thought about trying carving but haven't had the time with sports and school. Maybe this summer I will try to make a carve myself.

Its fun. You will never want to buy another plastic decoy off a shelf again. Dont ask me how I know....
