Magnificent shots, Hitch. To see that young lad holding those beautiful drake blue-wings, was a true pleasure for me. Glad you two had a great hunt. You just have to love that pic of the pup.

The smile on his face says it all Hitch. Good for you! It's fun watching so many kids grow up on this sight.
Vickie and I are coming down the first week in March to hook up with some friends over in St. Pete. Man I can't wait to get out of this deep freeze for a few days!

Nice Blue wings , looks a lot warmer there than what we get here during duck season, I gotta get a couple of them for the wall some day.

Well come on down Fred. You know Steve and I would be happy to take you out and about to find you some pretty bluewings. Steve shot the prettiest ones I've ever seen this weekend.......I know you'd have a blast down here in the nice warm weather

Dani

Dani, I will make the trip some day. Most likely after Rose retires so we can go to Disney world also!!!! You know mew I'm still a kid at heart

Very cool Hitch....Who's the mountain man in that last photo?

The gray has been there for a long time, you just couldn't see it. Boy, I knew I shouldn't have posted that photo, but Lucas was pretty proud of it.

One nice thing about having a grandkid that hunts is that the season down here lasts for another weekend. Should be more bluewings and more traveling decoy adventures to come.

Thanks guys. Hitch

Great pictures Hitch. I gotta say that beard suits you man! When I grow one I look like a homeless guy.

Mike

I think you are confusing the "homeless" representation with the fact that you were laying around loitering on the couch in an Ohio hotel lobby. When John grows a beard he looks like an old fart (which he is!)

Thanks, you guys are too much! I had fun this year, even though we had very few ducks. It was hard to find places that had birds in the open marsh, places that were safe to use the dog, but we did it...a unique challenge, I guess you could say. I have always liked a challenge. It keeps things interesting and fresh.

Stay tuned. Next weekend is the youth hunt weekend and Lucas and I will have the traveling wigeon out all weekend. Hitch
