Really nice tribute. Having dogs brings about some of the greatest joys and the worst sadness. Kenzie sounds like he was the ideal companion, and you gave him an amazing life.
 
Sorry to hear about Kenzie. Pets bring such peace and love to our lives and they take a piece of us with them when they leave. Kenzie appears to have had a wonderful life and couldn?t have asked for more.

Time heals. Take that time and remember the good times and not mourn the loss.

That?s a wonderful tribute to a great friend. I remember you getting that troller, it?s sad they don?t last as long. As I read your post I had Chance (the big head chessie) nudging me to say send our condolences. I know those years spent with our buddies are limited, as I will need to address the same situation as you.

I laughed when you said that Kenzie rolled in the flowers because Chance just eats them and then looks at me like he was doing me a favor. It?s tough to see them age so quickly.

My deepest condolences.

Thanks so much guys. I picked up Kenzies ashes and it was all I could do to not start bawling there in the vets office all over. The cremation company gave me a very nice urn for him....engraved all over the top with flowers. Made me smile quite a bit but broke my heart again.

I appreciate all the kind words and thoughts that have been sent my way.
 
Dani- so sorry for the loss of your beloved friend. I know your pain all too well. I had to lay my sweet girl down in September. Hope the good memories can get you thru your time of grief.

Great write up I enjoyed the read. A marriage between a dog and their owner is a very special bond. Both get to experience places and things that they would never have without each other.

Your relationship with Kenzie certainly was special.
