A little help for Shadow(NDR)

One of the great things about dogs is the stuff they do in addition to hunting. Shadow is a fixture at sporting events at the high school where I teach. He loves lacrosse because the players will launch the balls for him after the game, and is a big fan of Softball where we sit back from the bleachers and he gets to retrieve all the foul balls.

What he's best know for is football where his job is to retrieve the tee off the field after our team kicks off. This picture of him is in competition for best fall sports photo and I'd love for him to win. There's no prize at all, and all you have to do is like the photo on Facebook. If you have the time to like the pic he'd really appreciate it.

Todd, it is really cool. I've been bringing him since he was 8 weeks old and now the students and fans expect to see him at all the games. They are disappointed if I don't bring him.

That is awesome Charles. Looks like he's the MVP.
I think it is it is good for the kids to see how a dog can be when it is given an opportunity to flourish, being accepted and appreciated. That dog enriches the the whole team's experience.

Dogs are a lot like people in that regard. It is enriching and fulfilling for them and it is also enriching and fulfilling for the people around them to feel like they are appreciated and a part of something bigger. Well done.
