Brothers,
I'm sure all of us know what happened on November 11, 1940. It was still the time of Great Depression. Pearl Harbor remained 13 months distant. And it was the day that more duck hunters died than any other day in any other storm.
I thought it would be good to share links, articles and copies of first hand accounts about that great storm. The link below is a good account to get us started.
I"m still looking for a link to Gordon Mcquarrie's account. He made the rescue on the Mississippi river sound like a small version of Dunkirk.
For the many of you who are "in season", Wednesday would be a good day of meditation and prayer in memory and in honor of those who died.
