Always a pleasure to read Al. I remember those same feelings just last year. Hats off to Chip and to a day neither of you will forget!

Thanks, Troy. You really nailed it when you talked of the day that neither of us will forget. That is the beauty of duck hunting because it helps supply us with so much not to forget!

Very nice Al...I'm still clinging to the hopes of finding a duck or two for my pup Maxx to get his first retrieves this season. We have a couple days left, but that's about it. I've failed him miserably with my shooting in the few previous hunts he was able to go with me on. I'm hoping to find some ducks for him this weekend. Congrats to you and Chip!

Steve

Thanks, Steve. You have to remember that Maxx was in his element when he was out there with you. Maybe you can call a friend to help you out, especially if you can't go on another hunt. Maybe they could put a duck in the freezer for you and that later on you could use this in your training. I have taken birds that I knew where smacked by about every pellet that happened to be in the shell and stored them away to be used later. This way it does not go to waste.
