I wanted to change my avatar, dont know if I just got lucky the first time but all of the pictures I just tried to put on are too large?

I also just tried to upload it here and it wont let me do that either?

Im not the most technical with changing things like the size of the pix etc...

Any help would be great!

I've had good success using microsoft picture manager software to resize jpg. Specifically to meet the kilobyte restrictions.

The other thing is when changing the avatar, it may not "stick" so you have to click an f function (i forget which one, f9 f4?--- there's a FAQ that Eric put together that help me get it right.

Ctrl F5 forces your browser to refresh. If a picture is getting loaded from cache, and you aren't seeing changes when you are supposed to, hit ctrl F5 to make the browser go and load it from the www.
