Banquet mini's.

Me and Mac made these for table decorations at a fundraiser in Jan. I thought it'd be easy making a bunch of little ones. I totally underestimated how much work they would be. Luckily Mac was willing to paint and he did just about all of them. Also, I managed to use up 10 years of accumulated scraps that were too good to burn and too small to use for anything else.

I also just got a couple of buffy's done for our rig and a misc merganser. Our merganser rig has now swelled to 3 blocks.

Very cool Merganser. It's Super Merg, put a cape on that bad boy.

Looks like Mac is taking after dad in the painting department. That is an impressive bunch of miniatures.

Man, you hear stories about women fighting over who gets to take the potted plant table decoration at a luncheon. I can just imagine a bunch of waterfowlers slugging it out over who gets to leave with one of those minis!

You guys have done a wonderful job...I love the simplicity of the lines of your birds with the sharp line detail the paint schemes you guys use..

Kristan

When you told me a while back how you and Mac were going to whip out some minis...I kind of chuckled to myself.

It's one of those projects that you think, half the size, half the work...wrong! They look great!
