Very cool buddy!
Moving onto the front deck next. Possibly picking up material tomorrow off marketplace. The price of aluminum is brutal right now.
Hopefully picking up the engine in the next few weeks. Ill finish the gussets to the floor once I get it mounted.
Probably should address the trailer before I put the engine on it. Thinking of converting it to a bunk. The rollers are shot and it really doesnt fit well on them the way it sits now.

She's going to be in tip top shape when you finish. That is a nice big clean blank slate to build off of. Great project.
Got the blind frame started also. I bought a tubing roller and fit it to the shape of the hull. I really dont like having square sides on a boat blind. Its going to sag alittle. Will probably weld a piece of angle on the long tubing as a strong back. Blind is going to be canvas

I found a company that sells 21oz treated canvas tarps. I can order a 16x10 and if I basically split it in half I can make both sides of the blind. My question is it worth getting it that heavy? Or is it better to get a 16 or 18oz?
Am I just better off going to a canvas shop and have them make it?

Rob,
That's a loaded question. My opinion is no one can visualize what you want better than you. I think heaviest is better, but more importantly, strive for a design that permits driving with the blind up and in place. Big time saver at zero dark thirty.

P.S. Sewing is easy to learn if you don't already know how and is more cost effective.
Still teaching myself to tig weld but making progress. Had a rain delay today but should be done with the frame in the morning. Couple more things to button up before I paint it. Thanks for looking!

All looks wonderful - and of a world of which I am mostly ignorant. I am wondering how you bend those sweet curves (in your 3rd photo). Is there a jig/fixture with wheels or rollers?

Its a tubing roller that puts the radius bend on the tubing. Kinda takes some messing with to get right and 2 people to do it but the end product is worth the effort. I don't like blinds with square corners on the bow. Bow of the boat is covered with my design. My other boat is done the exact same way but with fast grass on it
