At some point you just have to laugh... but it's good moisture.

Glad it's not here in central N.C.,schools would shut down no bread or milk left in the stores. Hopefully spring will show up and stay in your area soon. Phil

I wonder what it will be called tomorrow. In 1973 (I think) I experience a blizzard like that in Brunswick Ga. and things were shut down. I rode my motorcycle to work that day and had to listen to "crazy Yankee" all day long. The rest of that story is that I had just returned from leave in Minn and had filled the back of my El Camino with snow and hauled it back to have a snowball fight with my Navy friends from Mich., Col. and Minn.

Golfing yesterday afternoon, 6-9" expected late afternoon through tomorrow morning. Funny thing. I have some business associates flying up from Florida this evening. They should be landing rightion the thick of it. One of the two has never seen snow in his life. Boy will he see it today.

Love this weather........

Tim if you need to talk to someone let me know. The plains are famous for cabin fever issues.

Tim~

Today was our Turkey opener. We called a nice big Tom right in - and my partner missed him at 15 yards....

Of course, we searched long and far and wide in the warm spring sunshine and I could not help but think....if only we had some tracking snow!

All the best,

SJS

Tim,
Please tell me thats all that there was to the storm. Apparently "they" are calling for 12 to 18" here in the next few days. If I have to start that snow thrower again....

Still snowing fairly heavily but it is melting from the bottom so it isn't building up much more. It is really sort of pretty.
It was in the 80s on Sunday and yesterday most of the day was comfortable without a jacket. I'm just glad I'm not one of you guys in the winter storm warnings. We just had an advisory. :)
No cabin fever here, I can actually use a day or two inside.

Tim

It has stopped snowing here, for now.

We just got about that much snow yesterday. But I checked the forecast for next week. 88 on Monday! I will be able to change my complaints from it being too cold, to it being too hot. :)

Well, it's 70's in Maine today, but perhaps that front is headed our way.

We could use the moisture--fire warnings and lots of brush fires the last couple of days, and I am hauling water to my garden to keep the spinach, radishes and peas from drying out.

With that front to our west, I'll hold off on the more sensitive crops for a few weeks.

I would laugh but its headed this way......maybe not the snow but cold....80's today and low 40's by Friday....with rain

Its not just you guys. Anchorage, AK has just finished the coldest April on record. I still have over a foot of ice/snow behind the house in the shade. Usually by this time of year I already have to start thinking about mowing the lawn the first week of May. At this rate I'll still be chipping dog doo out of the ice in two weeks.

70's here in the dacks as well and no black flies... yet. We still have snow banks on the shaded side of the road.i feel for you guys.
