Chessie pups First time Outside

We brought our pups out to the front yard Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful December day - 75 degrees and sunny.

My son and I took the grandsons duck hunting that morning. Got there a little late - all the good spots were taken. We still managed four blue wings and four green wings. My 13 year old grandson dropped his first bird! We all had a great time! All in all, an awesome Florida December Sunday.

my mom wont let me get a new pup (the chocolate in my avatar is my gf's, i have a 13 year old chocolate) so your photos are making me want to move out. (into a massive barn for room for all my boats, toys and a pup of course:)

Sounds like you had a great duck hunt. What a day when your grandson was able to notch that first bird. I was that same age 57 years ago when I did the same thing. What memories. Those Chessie pups are adorable. Thanks for posting, Rich.

Great photos Rich. Trying to convince the wife that Florida would be a great place to visit in late january (coincides with my birthday) and what a fantastic bday present it would be to come home with one of those pups. First and fourth pics are my favorites.

What a nice litter, wish you lived closer.

Against my wife's wishes , I'm looking for another chessie. Chance needs a friend.

My kids waant another, but my wife is thinking I'm nuts.... 2 100# dogs in the living room....

Every time Chance passes gas, my wife looks at me and says (while she covers her nose with the collar of her shirt) "you really want another dog!"

I'm interested, but this is my favorite wife. I'd have to complete a 2 page honey do list before she would consider a second dog.... But I'm working on the list.

LI Jack, nice to hear from an old home town guy. Bluepoint was my home, Bayport was my highschool and the bay was my living before florida. Rich
