Way back when we both were working on canvas swans. I'm ashamed to admit that mine never made it out of the beginning stages, but am honored to own one of your swans and am thoroughly impressed by your talents.
The Jagger/Gregory goose you showed me at Westlake is an instant classic in my eyes. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for posting that, real nice to be able to follow along as you build. ( I did take note you didn't reveal all your secrets,,,,,,,, no sewing photos. Ha! )
Thanks for sharing those construction photos. They are beautiful! I really need to get started on my Brant rig for next season. I just hope they turn out about 1/4 as good as most of you guys.
Chuck,
Thanks for posting up,really nice birds.
Question, how do they hold up in hunting situations,do they leak or take on water? Some old time builders left the butt open so the water can wash in and out is that a good idea ?
Nice work, thanks again.
Bill.
That is a good start on a rig---They floated and flashed white quite nicely in the pool. Hope they do the same out in the water.
There are a few tech issues on the side paint, but attitude was on the money!!
It will take you a while, but when you get to about a hundred, it will be time to slow down on them--The challenge, a flyer!!!!
