Dear friends,

I trust that everyone is well, and fully enjoying their hunting seasons. Surely making memories to last a lifetime.

Speaking of memories to last a lifetime, the most important waterfowl writer of our time has produced his latest book. 'Waterfowling: Best Days' is the newest contribution by Worth Mathewson. Those familiar with Worth's work are surely aware of his inspiring sense of storytelling. This book is a both a compilation of previous works submitted to various periodicals, and new musings on the awesome sport we all know and love.

I became a fan of Worth's writing when Gray's Sporting Journal first began to be published, 30+ years ago. Immediately taken by his work, I have been a faithful fan for most of my adult life. This new book promises to deliver the exemplary work that we have all become accustomed to, from this great chronicler of all things waterfowl.

I am thinking that the book will be offered here as in the past, but I cannot confirm this. That will be up to Worth and the fine people who run and manage this great site.

Worth's website, sinkbox.com is currently undergoing some construction, and is offline. Surely, it will be up soon.

Please stay tuned on this subject, as surely, more information will follow. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves great literature. Especially that pertaining to our sport.

God Bless All,

Mark

Mark,
I hope you are well and hunting as we speak.

I have enjoyed the same writing you mentioned. It is very good on a long night when the stove is going and the wind is blowing outside the window.

Is Worth back from his hunting across the border to take orders?

It's on my Christmas list already. Sandy got a card in the mail introduceing it. Hope all is well with you. Are you finding ways to stay busy?

Hello Mark
Its graet to hear from you. Worth sent me a copy hot off the press, and I have read it more than two times already. I am a big fan of his and I am glad you posted this for all us crazy about the sport we love so much. I wish you the best this hunting season.

Dear Bob,

Yes, Worth is home. His website is still under construction. As soon as it's up, I am sure that the order can be placed. In the meantime, perhaps someone has the phone number for Sinkbox.com right here.

God Bless,

Mark

Dear Jon,

Thank you very much! All is going great. I have been offered 3 serious jobs in the past 2 weeks, and I can't even believe that I am considering one of them!

I have been doing LOTS of hunting, indeed. Great times, and last week, we hunted 5 days. Never got out once before noon, and the gunning was fantastic. I could get used to this retirement thing.

God Bless!

Mark

Dear Howard,

You won't regret owning this book, and I am sure you already suspect. Worth's way of putting his experiences into words is without peer, by my estimation.

I have been staying EXTREMELY busy. Tomorrow, I am recarpeting the bunks on the small duck boat trailer, cleaning up the aftermath from a week of hunting's toll on the garage, and hunting the afternoon flight with my Godson, Johnny.

It's great to hear from you!

God Bless you and Sandy,

Mark

Dear Gary,

Hello, my friend! You would be so proud of me. This past week, we really got into the Redheads. Reminds me of when we got into them together. You may also like to know that Jeff Cooper mounted 7 of the regal birds taken with you and Steve in your incredible State, a few years back. They adorn the wall of our family room.

Not surprised that you have read that book close to twice already. You HAVE to be one of the most intense waterfowlers on this entire Earth!

I hope all is well with you and your lovely family.

God Bless!

Mark

+1 , Wife ordered the book over the phone from the card we received in the mail.

I am reading it slowly to savor.

Worth's Big December Canvasbacks is one of the best hunting books I've read.

If you haven't read that one, get it also.

Mark,

Thanks for the heads up! Big December Canvasbacks is my favorite book and I can't wait to read more of Worth's stories. Good luck hunting!
