Thanks for posting them up, Steve. Bomber was right; i need to sand the hen's bill down a mite, and repaint it. Not a difficult task, but needs to be done.
 
It happens when i am not making dekes, then , the MFA sneaks out.
They were the result of my shoulder replacement surgery this past August. Once in a while, i get to play a bit, and it has been a fun diversion.
Yeah, they are not exactly large enough to take and stick in the marsh, HOWEVER, i do have a flier brant in my rig, which was made around 30 years ago.
 
With this warm weather ( 68 degrees at sunrise this morning) there are no ducks to speak of here so I’m getting in a little shop time. Here’s a sample;

Christmas present for my brother. Brant in red cedar shakes. Framed in 5/4 mahogany I saved from a recent deck renovation.

I built myself a new decoy/tackle/kayak/boat stuff shed recently and put a striper in the gable. I'm going to carve a bait fish to put in front of it.
