I have a complete set of plans and full size blue-prints for the glen-l duck boat. It can be built in 2 different versions. The double ender, and the motor model, which is designed with a transom for mounting a small outboard. The plans also include templates for building the hull form. What I was hoping to find out is-----> How many square yards of fiberglass cloth might I need? Any guess on the amount of resin it will take? Can the original design be shortened from the original 14' design down to 10 or 12'? I plan on building 2. A 14' model for me and the dog, and a shortened version for my 13 year old nephew. We mostly hunt swamps, so rough water isn't really an issue. I guess I'm just hoping for any type of hints you guys might be able to offer. I've never built a boat before, and it just seems a little intimidating. So any help or hints offered is greatly appreciated!
