I recall that Ira had posted a link to a teaser for this DVD a while back. Nobody solicited this and I hope nobody minds me recommending it. I picked up a copy and for me, this was one of the best hunting videos I've ever seen....certainly one if not the best waterfowl videos in my view. The production is superb and shows that Field Hudnall has set himself well out front of the others in this regard. The music was tasteful and feeds the excitement and spectacle of the spring snow goose migration. It's also nice to hear some articulate individuals being interviewed for a change which should be no surprise when you consider the men that built Habitat Flats. Most importantly, the only way you're going to blow peoples minds with a DVD is to have some mind blowing hunting experiences and that shows through here big time.
Basically, you follow along as the Habitat Flats crew including Aaron and Ira McCauley go through the paces of the spring conservation snow goose season. I love spring snow goose hunting and I can say with first hand experience that it is very addictive and this DVD certainly gave me a fix! If you don't like high volume hunting situations then take a pass. If you like watching elite hunters at the peak of their game then check it out. Great job Ira and crew!
