How about checking in, so we know you're OK. Can't get through to Tina since about 8:30 last night, but it was pretty much passed by then & she was OK. I was watching the RADAR like a hawk all evening. At one point, I counted 7 indicated tornados within roughly 50 miles of home (Huntsville). I hope y'all know we're keeping all of you in our thoughts & prayers.

Hope y'all are OK in North Alabama.
Once again, the coast was spared. All the bad stuff from the last 3 storms has been well north of us. Lots of wind here but no tornadoes.

Ed, Jon, and I are OK. Jon's neighbor hood and half the city is gone. He is in what looks like a war zone. South end of the county here and the county I work in got hammered bad. It is bad all around. Went all the way across the state.

I'm glad y'all are doing OK. I was really worried about Jon with all that they were saying in the news. Tornados hit a subdivision about 2-3 miles from our place. They're estimating 7-10 Mil in damage. Funny thing is it's the same sub that got creamed in '95. Pice were just too eerily familiar. Heard from Kyle and/or Brian? Hope they're OK as well. God bless.

Prayers that all you guys are ok. Been reading and watchng the reports. Hope to see everyone check in as safe & sound.

We have prayers sent out to all who live in your area. What a devastating storm. One of the worst in decades. God's Peace.
Al

Tuscaloosa has been devestated. University of Alabama has calcelled classes, graduation and everything else. A high school classmate of my daughter's is missing along with her brother. The tornado that hit Tuscaloosa was a mile wide at one point. Latest death toll over 200 in Alabama alone.

GUYS, I just got a message from Jon Espy, the tornado missed his house by a block, so he and his place are Ok,

Jon did state that the rest of his neighborhood is totally devistated, The local Red cross Director here in Ellensburg is on her way down to help out with the response and recovery.

Hoping for the best for everyone else down there.

Fred

Guys, I know I am at the bottom of the state but If I can help please let me know. I will be happy to lend you guys a couple of generators and have access to a couple of fema campers (would have to get from hunting camp). When you get your families in order if you need any help I will be happy to bring some of the guys that work for me up and do anything possible to help in your recovery. Lee Kent 334 805 4675.

Heard Blake is without power. Most places that do not have power, will not have it for a while. Words can no explain what has happened. Drove through an area today where every house is gone completely. The grass from the side of the hills are gone where it went up one area. House roofs floating in the river, etc. I have not heard from Kyle, Brian or Eric

I have been thinking of you guys down there, wondering if anyone had heard from Brian or Eric.

My neighbor just got deployed last night to Birmingham for Emergency power restoration.
He may be down there for quite awhile. Our prayer with all of you who are in the midst of it.

Thanks for the concerns. Power came back last night, but they are saying 2 days on and then 2 days off, but happy no damage and alive!! Words nor pictures can do it justice. Had an EF4 (190 mph) twister hit about 5 miles to the north of us. Shawn Hollis and Jonathon Roy are fine. Kyle and Eric should be fine but just no power for a few days. Thanks for the prayers. Many folks will need those prayers for a long time, lifes have been changed forever......

Brian Glad to hear your all safe.............unbelieveable what can happen in the matter of a few seonds...........

Good thing that the AL duckboat folks are ok. The sad part - all the other those folks that lost loved ones and belongings.

Are thoughts are with you all and your families and frends. a truly dreadful thing to happen.

best thoughts, Paul, lindsey and freya scott

I've sent a PM as well as calling his home. Haven't been able to get through. Can anyone who has his cell phone number call him and make sure he and his family are alright? Let us know if you reach him.

Thanks,

Pete

I don't have a cell number, but I sent an email to his work account and it was returned as temporarly "undeliverable", which is likely a server/power/IP connection issue. He hasn't been on the site since before the storm, I'll definately pass word on if I hear anything.
