Family Hunt

Just got back from a waterfowl hunt in Manitoba with my 79 yr old dad and 27 yr old son. It was simply fantastic just to spend quality time with them!! I have gone up to the same area of Manitoba for the last 10 years and at the same time period(second time with my dad and my son combo) and without a doubt saw the most ducks of any of those 10 years. I typically focus on geese, but decided to give the ducks a whirl a couple of our three hunts. Limited on ducks day 1, geese day 2, and did a combo hunt day 3 with 11 each geese and ducks. Pics from our combo hunt then goose hunt.

Your dad is a real trooper! Our family is headed for Saskatchewan on Friday. Nothing against geese, but we are just focusing on ducks. What is the sitrep at the border; feathers on/feathers off? My wife really prefers skin on for cooking.

We did not bring any back--the farmers and some of their family members wanted the birds.
