February Workbench Thread

i just started painting my hen mallard last night and learning the blends. after seeing this i might as well throw it away. that bird looks great Sean, well they all do.


another thing is i like the smoothies, that is how im going to make my buffle head rig

Thanks, I think I will try one 4" high with my current pattern. I just carved a 2" high flattie. I will do a side by side comparison, when I can back into the shop. I will be happy when cold and flu season is over. I should have them done in time to post on next month's work bench.

Beautiful birds. Do you have any pictures of them on the water? I'm curious to see how they float.

-RC, I dont have any pictures of them on the water. But I test float all my birds. The decoys I hunted over this year had lots of movement on the water.

Simply, I'm a big fan of your work. Really like your style. I have yet to see a bird that you have posted that I didn't like.
