fix for full body duck decoys

I happened to find a nice fix for a full body duck decoy problem I encountered this past season and thought I would share. The plastic tube that fits in the body that you place your wire stand into came out at some point during my last hunt. Without it the decoy will not stabilize on the stand and falls down at an unnatural position. I contemplated drilling out a wooden dowel but then thought about the 20ml syringes we use to prep eyes before surgery. Works great. Epoxy around flanges and two screws and back in action. Was also thinking you could put in bottom of keelless decoys to turn into field decoys and if you waterproof the seal could still be used on water. Have to try that soon. Surgery centers/hospitals throw the syringes away so as long as not used for body fluids I would think the nurses would save a few for someone who asks.

Anyway, hope this might help someone in the same situation.
