Pat As I am totally competer illiterate my son posted that for me, I just saw what he posted , For a first time posting pics it looks alright. I'll get John to post some pictures of the boat at a later date. All it is , is 3/8 ply to act as a hide and a wind breaker. The boat is my 18' Sea Ark. I can gun 3 hunter out out comfortable and keep them relitively dry. Today was the first good shoot of the season. We layed off of Cartwight Island just south of Gardners Island. There was plenty of Scoter shooting the Eider was a bonus for that area, but with the amount we're seeing in Montauk there is bound to be an overflow. We had three flocks of 30 or more Black scoter over the stool during the morning , Our total was 3 Black, 5 White Wing, 1 Old Squaw (Long Tailed Duck to be politically correct) and the Drake Eider. I hope to get to shoot Montauk next week.
The Pup is my sons new Chessie, Sadie, shes 7 weeks and is ready to tear up the bay. There is a pic of Gus in there he's 8 months and made his first open water retrieves today. I was thrilled when he launched himself off the bow of the boat. I still have Cindy shes 14 and was in a funk this mornig when I left her home.
