Finally got this rascal... Shot him at 8:10 this morning before church. The first spot I set up was where I shot my bird last year. Had 3 decoys out. A coyote charged one of my decoys and leveled it. Crazy! Moved near the creek. Called this guy in strutting. 22lbs, 10 inch beard with 1 1/4 spurs...

Great bird! I have had coyotes come into calling/decoys before, but have never seen one attack a decoy. That must have been cool.

Nice going Pat, congrats. I've had coyotes come in several times when hunting with decoys. So far they have always split when they smelled me. Nice bird, should be good eating.
