Yes, it is only early goose and some hot dove action, but from this point on, if I don't work on duck equipment at least an hour a day (and 8 hours on weekends), up to the first of October, the equipment will not be ready.

Maybe some are more organized, but is pure scramble mode from here on out. Hope everyone is enjoying pre season rigging!

Yep, my job yesterday was to pull out the old battered Benelli and screw the magazine extension on it for early goose, I find that seven 3 1/2" shells in the mag really helps smooth my swing.

That made me laugh, and reminded me to put my plug back in before the opener. Chased Snow geese the last hunt of the season, and never put the plug back. The dog found the plug to be a nice chew toy also, so now it has character. Oh well, as long as it fits.
