Heath update

A number of members have contacted me lately and inquired how I was doing with my cancer battle. So, thought I'd post a quick update.
The 4stage Colon cancer was removed from the Colon but has moved up to both lungs.Did quite a bit of Chemo and the cancer growth has slowed somewhat. Now on a restricted [no sugar] diet and am feeling a lot better
Did get to attend the Tuckerton show with my good friend Tony Hillman.Spent some time with Mike Braun and his Dad and Brother Saw the Mighty Layout Boys but didn't remember the names of other Forum members, so didn't make any
contacts. It is truly a Duck Hunters Show ! Terrific! The East Coast is really where Duck Hunting thrives!
Thanks to the orders from many of the Forum members most of my hundreds of working decoys are sold. Have a few more hollow Brant left. Will list on the Classified.
Sold our big house and large boat decoy workshop. Sent the Hayden Scull boat molds to my son John in Northern California, PM me for his phone #.
I have a small space in our new garage where I can paint and finish up some working decoys.
Thanks to all of you for all your good wishes and support. You're a great bunch of guys and girls.Have a Great New Years !! Bob Hayden

Bob,

I am thinking of you in the New Year and Hope nothing but the best...You have inspired me as a carver and a duck hunter!

Regards,

Kristan

What a spirit and true fighter you are, Bob. It is good to hear that the chemo has slowed the cancer. Like boz said, I'll pray that you become cancer free. My best to you.

Bob,

Great to hear from you and good news on your health. With Stage 4 disease, there may not be a cure, but treatments allow you to live with the cancer instead of it overcoming you.

You have been in my thoughts quite a bit. I've had several friends in to hunt this year, and I proudly show off your decoys and scull boat.

Thanks for the update and keep checking in often.

Best,
Steve

P.S. I'll take one of the brant!!!!!!!

Steve , thank you for your encouraging words. Glad you're using the decoys and scull boat.Send me a PM with your address. Do you want an East coast Brant or a Pacific one ? Bob H

Bob, glad to see you on here and that your not letting cancer keep you down. Your in my prayers and thoughts. I float your BB decoys just about every hunt. they are by far my favorite decoys! Take care and God bless.
