Heinrichs jr sneak box

New member here! Thanks for the add. Seems like alot of knowledge here.

I was given a heinrichs jr sneak box. It?s dated 10/95 on the inside. Just wondering if there is a way to find out what number boat it is? I?ve seen people post it as I browsed the forum tonight.

Right now she?s under some major surgery and will be a fine vessel once again.

Welcome to the site! Review as many restoration threads as you have time for. There is also a wealth of knowledge by the current members. My words of advise are to look at every piece you take off and photograph them and write down every details you can. That bow is going to be tricky! I noticed on my box that the center planks were beveled back so that they can fit tightly together. I didn't notice until it was almost too late. Also, getting the carpentry done right can save a lot of time/ expense when you get to fairing and glassing.

So i'm sitting here looking at pictures of the rot on the bow. Just wondering if I can cut out the outer section (not sure what its called where the planks screw to) and sister up a rib and epoxy the new wood to the beefed up ribs? If that makes sense.
